What a "FLY" tele...

I like some Parkers, but i don't love them. To me the natural finish and the "vintage" styling goes completely against the modern aesthetic that makes Parker interesting. It's like putting gold 22" rims on a minivan - I just think it's tasteless and is only trying to make the item look like something it's not, rather than just being itself.

Then this is what you'd call a crossover or gateway guitar.  A Tele player would never think of owning a futuristic composite Parker, but they might atleast consider this one.

yeah i know. i get the marketing. I just look at it and the two halves don't gel. What i like about tele's is the shape. What i like about Parker's is the modern look. This guitar has neither. I ain't saying it's a bad guitar. I just don't like it, and i certainly get why a lot of people don't like it

Different strokes, different folks.  I despise the normal Fly but this Tele version is far preferable to me over the EBMM version of the Tele.

FWIW, I know a few guys playing a Parker Fly.  The Piezo system is a constant work in progress.  One guy never uses his, the other guy has had his repaired several times and currently it isn't working.

Normally I do like Parker. Generally I think they look great and play marvellous. But the "Telecaster"-twist on it is not my cup of tea.

I like this guitar, but the black painted headstock is kind of odd looking...!
