I didn't get around to any inlay work....  I kind of hate to chop up that top......  I am looking for another neck to do some inlay work on,  I just wanted to finish it and play it.  It does sound pretty awesome I must say

DBW... let me tell you a story of the strange tribe we call the Lefties...

:laughing7: Awesome guitar! Only things I would change would be flipping the whole thing around, and having that concentric pot at the bottom of the line.

Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words.  Check out Doug's neck plate.  It's stainless steel.

I originally wanted the concentric at the end of the line, but with the location of the jacks, it wouldn't fit.  I have it set up as my tone control for the dimarzio's.

So the specs are:

WGD from the turtle flame  maple on maple with an accent stripe
LP Boat Neck with the fat 1 3/4" nut also from the turtle
Abalone position markers strat scale
Dimarzio PAF in the neck, and a super 3 in the bridge.
LR Baggs T-bridge (with a cntrl-x to be installed tomorrow) tfarney was right about that
WIlkinson imperial tuners

Control setup is this:  series/ parallel/ split switches, Concentric tone, blender pot for the mags,  mag volume and push pull for TRS effects loop, volume for t-bridge (cntrl-x tomorrow)

I really like the way the guitar plays I don't think any of  my other guitars will see much action for a long while.  I'm really glad I could show it to y'all......

I only got this far until someone said what I was thinking.   :laughing7:

Seriously, looks nice...now I'll read the rest of the posts.

...very cool, "Beardie."

That thing turned out nice!  Love the wood control cover.  I also love where you put the Turtle!  Hope it turned out to be everything you were hoping for!

Louie Louie,  Thanks for the kind words.  I love the way the guitar plays.  100% satisfied, I don't think I would change a thing about it.

send a PM  I don't want to discuss that in a thread if you smell what I'm stepping in :icon_thumright:
