Just got this a little earlier today. It's cloudy outside so all you get are indoor pics for now.

So I wasn't paying attention to the camera settings and all of the pictures are huge. I'll probably put up better pictures later while I wait for all of my parts to arrive.

Looks great!!! I swear that the next guy that post an all Wenge with Ebony fretboard will suffer my terrible course :laughing7: I'm GASing a Flying V like this sooooo bad!

Mighty sweet! Looks like the 28 5/8" scale. The 25 wouldn't look right with the extended upper horn on the body. That thing will be an earth-shaking metal shredder. More sevens!

Ya got a whole lotta Wenge going on there...  :headbang:
I too really like the shape of that body; really dig that big upper horn!
I had better learn to play 6 strings before I start on 7  :toothy11:
:kewlpics: :rock-on:

I would suffer a pretty bad course if Warmoth would do a V seven string body with a 26.5"- 27" scale. 25" seems crazy for a 7 string except maybe for Jazz? and that 28 5/8 just scares me after having my Loomis for the last two years.

Your guitar is beautiful!!! I hope my first Warmoth looks that good! I'm gonna find out real soon, getting ready to order  :party07:

Wow-how heavy is that much Wenge? Lol.
Seriously considering a wenge neck soon..considered body also, but thought it may be a bit heavy..let us know how she sounds.

With all of the parts on it, it weighs 11.4lbs

I just have to wire in the pickups and set it up and everything will be done.

wenge makes me want to eat chocolate.

how do you pronounce wenge?

I wish Warmoth would make the V in 7-string! And in 25" scale. All this crap about needing a 48" scale for a 7-string is pure myth.

i actually wanna know why its difficult for them to just do a 26.5 or 27 scale length neck rather than a 28 which seems a bit excessive unless your tuning nearly an octave down. the 25 is silly.
