weight preferrence

Just try to see what makes you folks tick. What do you consider the ideal body weight for YOUR tastes. I personally like them 3 lbs 12 ozs to 4 lbs.

Almost the same as you, although my high end is 4 lbs. 4 oz.

Yeah that sounds ok CB. Certainly would not want it to exceed 4 and a quarter though.

Depends on the neck. Both bodies I've bought from W are over 4 lbs. One has a bari neck and the other has a wenge tree trunk for a neck. Both of them are balanced and feel right.

The Thinline Tele's all seem to be ok, and ya never really get a heavy one

Being big & strong despite my advanced age, doesn't really matter; most of my guitars are under 7 lbs I guess, tend to like hollow/hollow chambered/light mahogany bodies, not because I care about the weight, but due to their inherent extra resonance.
