Warmoths satin finish - thin?

I just got my completed guitar back. It's great, but has me wondering - the maple neck I have, I got a satin finish on it. The neck feels almost unfinished, like raw wood, rather than the satin finish on my Ibanez, which is alot silkier. Is this because it's new? Perhaps a thinner coat?

Just hope they didn't forget to put the satin finish on  :laughing11:

Well isn't satin a soft redish color? If so if is has that color on it's satin finish, unless i'm wrong :icon_scratch:

The satin finish is very thin and natural feeling.  Yours is not an uncommon question.  Take a look at the heel and see if there is a red dot.  The red dot will indicate clear satin finish.
