Warmoth's clear gloss finish process?

...kind of a dense title for such a simple question. I just ordered a showcase body with a flamed maple top, specifying clear gloss for the finish.  Is the process as simple and just shooting the clear, or are there some other steps in the process?

The ash backside of that body you've been ogling might need a grain fill as well.

Yah I suspected the ash needing a grain fill prior to the alpine white application. Hoping the finish on the flamed maple top isn't grain enhanced and is just cleared.  Thanks, man.

if you just ordered clear gloss, that is all you will get.  No color or enhancers will be added.  However just adding clear will cause flame to pop a bit.  a similar effect when you wipe down raw wood with naphtha to show the grain.
