Okay, I've held off since this neck isn't actually correctly encoded on the website (it doesn't come up on searches for "No neck inlay"), and I'd hoped to be able to grab it for myself - but this is truly the neck that body requires, IMNSFHO - esp. if you drop the 45 bucks for them to trim it down to a Warhead:

This acryl burst gets me wondering, is the top of the body strong enough to have a jack cup screwed on, and will it withstand as much abuse as a jack cup on a solid body ?

It's 1/4" hardwood. It's plenty.
