Warmoth neck on a Fender

I bought this guitar in 1996.  It started off as a stock, used, MIJ Fender '69 Thinline Reissue. 
Over the years I swapped out pickups, saddles, electronics, necks, pickguards, etc

Fender body, the poly finish has been peeled off and wiped down with Tung Oil

Reed James Custom Telewoody pickups with Pistacio wood bobbins (http://www.reedjamescustom.com).

Pau Ferro laminate pickguard from Wood Pickguards (http://www.woodpickguards.biz)

Goncalo Alves knobs from an ebay supplier

And a Warmoth neck, Pau Ferro on Pau Ferro.  Abalone dot fret markers.  '59 Roundback profile.  Warmoth Modern construction.  Stainless Steel frets.

It peeled off like it was nothing. 

Here's a pic from 2007 when I did the peeling, as you can see, it was not difficult.  I just shoved a knife between the wood and poly and it chipped off in great big chunks.

Gay porn, perhaps.  I'm hetero, but more power to ya!  Gay dudes know how to throw a party and make great lead singers.  Look no further than Freddie Mercury, Rob Halford and Elton John.  I'd totally love to put together an awsome hard rock band fronted by a flamboyant gay dude.  That would be awesome!

I was thinking more along the lines of women, but now I'm making the connection between wood and men.
