I just did 2 short clips to see what my chambered mahogany Warmoth strat with Lindy Fralin noiseless P-90s sound like, & I must say, Lindy knows his stuff....& that Ken Warmoth fella ain't too shabby himself.  :icon_thumright:

Very nice sound Doughboy. I love the black hardware on the amber body and maple neck. And those P90's set in the Strat body. A very classy balanced look. I like it alot!!

I am leaning towards all black hardware on the Mary Kaye Tele body I bought off the showcase. I think you have just confirmed it for me. Not to take attention away from the sound of your guitar though, it sounds great. A perfect blend of clean and mean.

I like the bridge pickup tone.

I'd like to hear the middle, middle+neck and middle+bridge tones.  :blob7:
Everyone has heard P90s in the neck and bridge, but the other combos are rather uncommon. Do you use the middle pickup frequently?

Lindy makes great pickups, in my opinion. I prefer Bare Knuckles, but for p90s I've been using Lindy Fralins. I haven't tried his Noiseless ones though.

To me, nothing says classic Fender strat than Mary Kaye white, but I've never seen one with black hardware, which is a great reason to try it out. When you do, please post some pics.

I'll do a video tomorrow & demo all 5 positions with a slightly overdriven clean tone.

I use the middle PU all the time. I almost always use the middle PU with the neck PU & use the middle PU with the bridge for a fatter tone.

My controls are master volume, master tone & middle PU volume so I can dial it in & out for the right tone. I don't think I could live without a middle PU & even my tele has one.

I've never used Bare Knuckle PUs but I hear so many good things about them that I may break down & get a set of VHIIs.

I did a lot of research on noiseless P90s & finally settled on a set of custom wound Lindys. There aren't too many companies making noiseless ones.

Sounds really good!  I love p90s.

Me too!!!  :hello2:

Ever since hearing Scotty Moore playing his Gibson Super 400 with the P-90s when I was 4 years old & got HEAVILY hooked on Elvis that P90 sound has been with me almost daily.

Scotty + Elvis = pure perfection.  :blob7:

As requested by line6man , here is a demo of every possible tonal combination that I can get out of the Lindy Fralin Noiseless P-90s.

Wow, that is very cool. I have seen exotic switching schemes that give one or two sounds you'd use and the rest are useless. But you're getting some really good sounds here.

Is that a standard strat switch? Any chance of posting a wiring diagram? I'm starting to hear the creaky sounds of my wallet opening.

The switching described can be done with a standard 5-way switch. If the OP doesn't have a diagram, give me a day or so and I'll draw you one.
