There's nothing worng with 80s power ballads, if they're as cool as this one:  :guitaristgif:

I absolutely hate that song.
After seeing what you looked like back in the day, i figured it'd be right up your alley... :dontknow:

No wait, you looked more like Dee Snider and George Lynch had a kid.... :laughing11:

You may hate the song, but you gotta love the solo. Brad Gillis at his best. :guitarplayer2:
"Don't tell me you love me" had one of his best solo's....IMO

The 1st 2 Night Ranger albums were pretty darn cool. After that, the guitar solos became less & less & the cheesy pop became more & more.

I'd love to see them now with Joel Hoekstra on 2nd guitar. Joel is a killer player. http://www.myspace.com/joelhoekstra

No that was what turned me off to Night Ranger. I loved Don't Tell Me You Love Me - but Sister Christian is lame lame lame.

What did you look like 20 years ago, tough guy?

If I can find a photo I'll show ya.... :icon_biggrin:

Speaking of George Lynch, I'll be in Warmoth Country tomorrow to catch Lynch Mob & one of my all time favorites, Michael Schenker, at Studio Seven.

George Lynch I can take or leave now a days, but I'm as giddy as a school girl to see Michael Schenker.  :hello2:

I've never really been a fan myself, but who can't appreciate someone who records in the open air of the Southern California Desert with a telecaster and a stack of cabinets sitting in the sand?

I saw that video & almost threw up. It was so pretentious & George is a mere shell of his former self.

I compare him to Gibson now. Both put out inferior product & rest on their former glory.  :laughing8:
