And yes I'm an EMG man, my sig pictures should give it away. I do have some other guitars with SD pickups in them (Invaders, Distortions, Jazz, Cool Rails), and they do sound great, but the EMGs just fit my style of playing so well that they have become my "go to" choice on warm, full sounding guitars.
