Warmoth Hybrid Strat vs. USACG 51-STP

Hello all. I'm brand new around here (I still can't believe that it's 2015 and I was forced to choose between avatar options that included Limp Bizkit and The Cardigans, FYI) and I have a question. I'd like to build a guitar that's basically a souped up Squier 51 with P90s in it and a strat neck. I know that I want a Warmoth neck, and I'd like to buy the body from them, too, but I don't know if everything will line up on the Hybrid Strat body type. This is why I'm considering the USACG body. My biggest concern is the control plate, which is a classic tele style on the Warmoth but a tele bass style on the USACG. Can anybody help me shed a little light on this one? Many thanks.

Go Warmoth with both. They're not going to sell something that doesn't fit their own stuff.

To clarify, I think the OP is talking about one these:

That control plate wouldn't fit the Warmoth body without some woodwork and rout isn't in the same location anyway.

A strat neck will work on a tele body but a tele neck won't work on a strat. As for the controls, you can just omit that from the body builder and drill them yourself using what ever control cover you like. this being with a rear rout. However I do believe you can order a tele top control rout on a strat...But I believe you have to use the Hybrid strat builder... :icon_thumright:

To put a Tele neck on a Strat, you can order your Strat body with a Tele neck pocket or a Strat neck with a Tele headstock.

For my Strat, I ordered the Strat neck and had the headstock cut down to the Tele pattern.
