I recently got a Gibson scale conversion Stratocaster Fatback neck and I love it! I want to order another neck, but this time with the 3/3 Warmoth headstock.

My question is, is the Warmoth headstock fatback the same thickness as the Strat-style fatback? Or will it be thinner because of the headstock angle/joint?

I have/had both and they are huge. The only difference necks with the same profile have is the final sanding that is done by hand. Out of the three Fatbacks I bought one of them was a little thinner, I'm guessing from the final sanding. The other two are very thick, I sold one because of that and at some point I'll "shave" the other one.

I have a Tele neck in the Fatback and a Warmoth headstock with the Fatback profile. They're almost the same! Feel the same to me, as Kostas said it's probably down to the final sanding. I have a 3rd Fatback in production now with a Vortex headstock. Love this neck profile!
