Warmoth CBS Strat

[Rouse]

After about 8+ months of planning and changing my mind just about every day, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered all my parts, I've had the body for a few months but just recently received the neck and began putting it together, all I have left to order is pickups, which I'm doing tomorrow. I'll be ordering a pre-wired Lollar Blackface/Blackface/Special set.

Specs:
One Piece Swamp Ash
Cherry burst finish
Ebony/Canary neck
SS6105 frets
Chrome Hardware
Black Pickguard

Canary is so smooth, its like rubbing your hand across paper but different, best I can do at explaining it. The showcase pic doesn't look close to what it really looks like it real life. In real life, it has more red streaks and its overall brighter, plus the ebony has a considerable more amount of figuring (not the best IMO, but it will work). The pics I put on here kinda show it.

EDIT: Just ordered my pickups, should be in soon.
        Changed my mind and went with Blonde-Blonde-Specials

Do want the ebony to have LESS figuring?  If so this would definitely be a good time to dye it.

+1. i love the figuring in natural ebony. dyed "jet black" ebony looks too unnatural to me. but it is a dream guitar, so if you're not happy with it i don't see any sense in leaving it and trying to adjust yourself to it! either way that thing looks killer. i bet you're excited to get it up and running

It really isn't that big of deal; It really won't be noticed once strings are put on it

I know what you mean. Warmoth does do some good photography, but the reality is always better so if you like the pics, you'll love real life.
