You said a mouthful, buddy.  From classics reinterpreted (Fat Pete, Hannaugh, Slartibartfast), to modern marvels (Kuro Uma, Klangster) to works of fine individual artistry and craftsmanship (Cagey, Great Ape, Kuro Uma again) to just plain delicious (everyone else), it's an embarrassment of riches.

I had to vote for Greg for creating a whole new category/level of "Guitar Art"  :icon_thumright:

Lots of great looking instruments.  All winners.  Obviously.

Have to go with Cagey.  A beautiful work.  I also have to give props for the neck polish and binding work.  Gold hardware too..... :laughing11:

Each month for last year had some pretty bloody amazing Guitars / Basses.  :icon_thumright:

No wonder GOTY was gunna be a hard choice.  :icon_scratch:

Wowza just wowza

I love this community! It's fine art in the service of fine art! It's fine art squared! <grin>

We could stand some "backwards" here right now. It's 36 degrees below freezing with mountains of snow, while you're probably contemplating putting on shorts and having a barbecue.

You know, I never noticed before but that's quite the amp that Fretless's green super strat is laying on top of...

Can I vote for the amp?  :)

No kidding.  And the Heritage case in the other picture.  You know there's gotta be something nice in there.

And by the way - Wow, 2013!  What a varied year, there is some really amazing stuff.  Good job everybody.  :hello2:

We put together some damn fine instruments here, don't we? Congratulations all.

I'm usually pretty good at picking the GOM winner - even when it's not the one I vote for - but not sure this time. 2 likely favourites I think, neither of them my Tele, it'll be interesting to see how the voting goes.

Good luck everybody!

For what it's worth, your Tele is pretty high on my list. That's a fine piece of work. You'll understand, of course, if I vote for an L5S treatment <grin>
