Did you make the neck, also?  I'd love to be able to do something like this someday, but it's tough to know where to begin.  Are you using any books or guides besides the '58 replica plans that you'd recommend?  Keep those pix coming!!

Vs *are* very cool and this one is gorgeous! 

I've never owned one (or even played one for that matter) but I have always wondered about something:  If you set aside the argument that a V should always be played standing up arty07:, how do you play a V sitting down?  Where does it rest?  It seems to me it would slide off your leg...

everybody i've seen playing a V in a studio or something plays it in the "classical guitar" position, with the lower horn between their legs. i wouldn't be able to play as well that way, so i guess i'll never play a V in a studio  :icon_biggrin:
