Going with the transparent red on this one, since I also bought the other V-K that was listed for the Black Friday sale (and that one will be in pure white). Laid out some layers of Zpoxy for pore filling, then spritzed coats of StewMac cherry red transparent lacquer. Looks like I need a bit more attention on the back, now that I'm seeing the zoomed in photo.

Tint looks great! It's a nice piece of wood too
