this things been sitting in pieces for quite a while, so when my dad came by for my birthday i roped him in to helping me assemble! the body is ash with a single f-hole. the neck is purpleheart with the warmoth headstock and the standard thin back profile. i think the warmoth headstock looks great! it has a single volume pot and a 3 way blade switch. now pictures!
and, of course, the dangerous neckplate! just don't mention the redskins :sad1:
really have to thank every member of this board and every employee at warmoth! i think every single person on this board has answered some stupid question from me, and i emailed warmoth for probably over a year before i ended up deciding on what i was going to do!
and my body was originally supposed to be a VIP, which i ended up having to cancel after i lost my job and decided i didn't have quite as much money to spend as i had thought before :icon_biggrin: this one to be exact:
definitely a great looking body! but i'm glad i ended up with the parts i have. i don't think i could be happier!
and i'm amazed at how versatile it is. Dimarzio Virtual P90 in the neck, and a Super Distortion in the bridge. rolling the volume off just a little cuts out some of the treble and really cleans up the sound. i definitely don't regret not having a tone knob in this one! might end up switching to a true single coil P90 one day, but for now i'm extremely happy with what this set up gives me
