Update on my frank zappa inspired strat

I’m really happy with how this is turning out. Its going to have a push/pull to split both humbucker! What do you think?

I couldn’t afford a flamed top so I had to find something that looked expensive haha. I think this works. It reminds me of a nice piece of furniture

Ain't that always the way? Just consider it an investment in your own happiness. You'll probably never recoup the cost if you sell, but you'll love it so much, you won't want to!

Mandy, imho, this is looking better than zappa's git.  How did you finish the body?

Just a ton of tru oil. That roasted alder really sucks it up. I’m still in the process of finishing it. I’m going to add another coat or 2 of tru oil and then wet sand it with some micro mesh paper. My name isn’t Mandy by the way ha. It’s just a nickname my friend gave me when he tried combining man,dude and spiffing it up lol. It’s pronounced man dill eye. Haha
