As much as I like a maple board, and I really like a maple board, I think a jet black ebony would look much better and be very stealthy with no inlays on it.

As of lately I've been ant-eye inlays, but in this case I think it fits and is complementary to the build....

I think it's certainly complimentary to the build and an ebony fretboard would be a little too much black. I think this guitar needs contrast and the maple board provides it. Too much black and I'd feel like I could only play Vader songs on it. As for the inlays, well yeah, they may be a little glammy but with the jet black finish on the body and headstock it toughens it up enough to qualify as a serious metal axe, not to mention the awesome theme of the whole concept. And for those who missed it, yes, it will have a Floyd!  :headbang:  :headbang1:  :headbang:

BTW the only thing I can imagine could improve on the current look of this thing would be black binding on the neck.

Those are some bad ass amps, made in the UK by former Marshall employees. I tinkered around with a combo at a local mom&pop guitar shop... :icon_thumright:
