Except it will be a vintage pinto.  IMO, the old stuff isn't better, it's just older.  The old '57 Chevy that everyone would get if they have the chance, people forget they had drum brakes, no seatbelts, no airbags, no power steering, no AC, got horrible mileage, leaked oil, etc.  Kind of a chore to drive and maintain by modern standards,but hey, they're vintage.

Teehee, relicing isn't authentic! I don't like relic because it's more fun to treat your sh!t like sh!t, rather than pay to have your guitar look like sh!t.

I am strongly considering a Fender roadworn bass, though. If only it didn't have those "cigarette burns" on the headstock, damned marks look like they were drawn in with sharpie.

That 50;s P bass is quite the looker though, very tempting...
