Two EVH inspired builds

The first is a fender bass using a Fender Neck.  This will get a traditional EVH stripped job.

The Second is a Warmoth Strat, with slightly smoothed edges.  This also gets an EVH theme but instead of Black, white and Red, this one will be very patriotic with red white and blue....and a little sparkle for stars.  I also have some contouring done to the reshaped headstock.

Base coats are on.  I will need to sand and tape and get ready to spray the white.

The Red, White, & Blue ought to be interesting, likely the first I've seen the EVH in that color scheme.
I saw a chamo version once that I thought looked pretty cool.

Sure thing.  I had a setback with the blue one today.  I did to get a good bond with the paint and it was coming off with the tape.  I may have to sand some more and respiratory with a better primer.

So many people complain about auto-correct, and/or make humorous mistakes by not reviewing their messages. Isn't there a way to turn it off?

I'm convinced mobile devices are an evil plot to undermine the personal computer and turn us all back into consumers on a ride. My problem is part auto correct and part tiny screen. Tiny screen + bifocals, you don't dare turn it off completely. But sometimes it goes from suggesting to heavy handed correction. Other times the keyboard and the browser zoom function conspire to make editing darn near impossible. I generally don't like to enter more than 3 or 4 lines on mobile devices now. Spawn of Satan.

I don't know if I'd call it an "evil plot". In some ways, it's a blessing. Think of all the "Windows" problems you don't have to deal with any more. Most people just want to surf the web and send e-mail/twitters/facebook updates. Smartphones fit that job description pretty well.
