Has anybody tried to finis a complete mahogany guitar just with tung oil? I'm in a new SG project and want to know if anybody has done this before and the results, pros / cons? Thanks to your help.
I dont see why not. I was thinking of doing something like this on a project. I don't know about the grain fill though, I wasn't going to grain fill because I like the exposed grain look.
