Great choice on the Hipshot tuners! You'll want the old style, "stepped" Schaller holes. They measure 11/32" at the headstock face and then 25/64" the rest of the way through. They are no longer listed in the builder, but Warmoth will do it free of charge if you ask them. Just tell them what you want in the notes. BTW, these tuners  will also fit in the new, straight through, Schaller holes, but the step gives a little better fit at the reach nut.

I documented my installation of these a while ago.  I used the straight thru schaller holes, no hip at the top of the hole, and they worked fine. 

You might want to give the folks at hipshot a call just to verify.  They are in New York State and when I spoke to them they seemed real nice.

Agreed. Straight holes fit, stepped holes seem to fit better. Just MHO, and a matter of personal preference.
