Triple Pickup Mahogany

Just got this body blank , the mahogany is so nice I may not cap the body .

Planning a single cutaway semi hollow for it.

There is enough with the neck through to book match it , so I may make 2 from it.

I've picked a set of nice wild maple I have , I think it may work out well ...

I was going to suggest hogging it out from the back like a Fender thinline but that was before seeing that top. Now I don't know, I'm just not answering the phone.

Is the mahogany as nice on the back? If so, use the crazy maple top. It's kinda decadent to have a really attractive back on a guitar.

With those 2 woods that you have I would probably make them into 2 guitars rather then decide which one suits best  :icon_thumright:. Those woods look aweseome as hell its scary. Where in the hell did you get woods like that.

The Claro is from Northwest Timbers , I've got several sets from them  , they consistently have the best selection/service.  The maple is from Oregon Wildwoods.

The claro flipped lools like some Shaman ..
