I know there are some fans.

I saw a couple on another forum, RockAudio I think.

I wouldn't necessarily do the Nashville pickup set up, but perhaps a Robbie Robertson Pickup config for tele with the trem.

Thotz?

I'm looking for a tele body routed for two humbuckers and a hipshot or floyd tremolo.

On Warmoth's custom pages, I can build a tele body with Hx2, but tremolo routing is only for "Vintage six hole tremolo," which I believe is the standard for strat.

Can I drop a hipshot tremolo into that slot?

Many thanks for any answer!

Not sure about the Hipshot, but my eye is set for routing for a Floyd with the neck angle to mount one of those Schallers that Cagey has on his.

I love tele's with double hums and Floyds, I have two of them...

Not sure what the problem is. I just went to the builder and was able to have any of the supported vibrato patterns routed on a dual-humbucker Tele.

I ran into that before.

Can't do certain combinations.

The only one I recall not letting you add a Floyd was the Tele Deluxe...Something about a clash with the pickguard... :dontknow:

Well, I know in the past, the showcase posted "your choice tremolo" and "your choice pickups" and it wouldn't allow the options I posted in my Blue example up above.
Maybe that has changed, haven't tried it on the showcase for a bit.

That f-holed tele is the sex!
If you're refering to my Cherry Tele, it's light as a feather, and a bit darker than the pic. I left it in a window for 3 weeks for the sun to darken it just a bit. :icon_biggrin:

One thing I will say about teles, if you're looking for the traditional tele bridge p/u sound.  The pickup being mounted into that large nickel bridge is a huge part of that tone.  In my warmoth strat I originally had a retrofitted telecaster pickup in the bridge by Harmonic Design, which I ended up swapping out for a retrofitted P90.  Partially because the 90 suited my style better but I also found that the pickup didn't come anywhere close to the teles I'd play at the store (even the squier teles).

If you're looking to go the twang route, I'd recommend looking into something like this.

Although... even still the attachment of the bridge to the plate itself probably contributes.

I like that plate, but would prefer a flat version without the ashtray walls.
