As it turns out, GAS is quite communicable. All the talking about this Jazzmaster build prompted my dad to order up a Jazzmaster body and neck of his own! This build will be temporarily on hold till his stuff comes in, then the plan is to make it a simultaneous dueling-Jazzmasters build. Which is going to be an awful lot of fun!

:)

So it only took four months getting those pickguards?
They sure work fast ...  :dontknow:

It was frustrating, no doubt, but at the end of the day/month/quarter/going-on-half-a-year, the parts are beautiful and I'm a happy camper. No hard feelings, but I'd advise anybody ordering from them to allow for a looooooooong lead time!

The original Bill Lawrence pickups are that way. Great products, reasonably priced, ridiculous lead times.

A sound like nothing else, too.

I can recall those threads popping up on the TDPRI rather frequently, "Ordered Keystones seven weeks ago, no updates?!" I never did try a set myself, but I never heard a bad review... Seems to be kind of a "thing" in this industry: great products, poor communication....
