But the finish that I loved at the time - it was just what I wanted, a homemade hippy look - now, I hate it. it's just amber shellac, zinsser wipe-on, and a bit of wax. No grain fill, which is the problem. Now the grain has god shellac and wax in it.
I would like it to look like a "normal" nitro or poly finish. What are the experts' thoughts on how they would strip and refinish this particular axe? I love the body, the grain, and the sound of it.
