Has anyone tried or owned the Tone Pros 6-in line locking tuners?  I am considering them in addition to the Sperzels for my strat neck.
I have another guitar with the Sperzels, which I like, but they do add some weight.  I am not sure if the Tone Pros have a vintage look or a modern look as the Sperzels do.
thanks

There are a bunch of good locking tuners out there now, it's hard to go wrong. I have sperzels, Schallers, Gotoh vintage locking, and Planet waves. My favorite is the Gotohs:

They are a bit stiff but they look and work just great. Plus they're not crazy expensive and are pretty light.
As far as locking, and keeping in tune, I'd say they are all equally good.

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, it seems that the Gotoh locking tuners have been discontinued in a left handed version.  I have a set, and I do like them.  I can get Sperzel's for about 60 bucks, and can obtain the Tone Pro's for about 90 bucks.  The Gotoh's were relatively easy to install, but the Sperzel's were a bit more challenging.  I am not sure about the Tone Pro's.
