Ha, maybe after screwing up a few guitars and a few jobs first. I don't know nearly as much as a lot of people here.

I think alot of times people learn more from mistakes, than from getting things right the first time.  At least for me.
Now, I just need guitars to learn on. I'll be taking donations  :laughing7:

Oh, files, saws, etc... too.

Flea Markets, or Yard Sales my friend.  That is if you live in the states.  If not, then you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. :dontknow:

Yep. Once I get a job, and get the needed stuff (another warmoth, good amp or two, pedals, attenuator, etc...), I'll be getting cheapo guitars to modify/correct.

I started a small business without even tryin, I just built a couple Warmoths for some buds and did the setups well, and the finnish. and now I have all their friends business too. If I wanted I bet I could stay real busy, but I need a dedicated space first. I am working in that direction.

I get a lot of business because I work for free, ( they buy the parts of course) but that will not always be the case.

Credit where credit is due Max, I would have had no clue about all this when I was your age...... not that I'm any wiser these days  :tard:.

+1 I agree to this  :icon_thumright:
Max, not only is your knowledge good, of all the youth on this forum, I feel you by far
demonstrate the most maturity and consistently make a contribution.  Gotta love the W forum!
Thanks Max... :headbang1:

Thanks, guys  :icon_thumright:

I'm trying to learn the basics of amps now. Got the full 5E series of Fender amps printed out, and I'm studying the diagrams. I can't find anything on the 5E10 Fender Harvard amp, though. So I had to print the 5F10.

When you say, 'the basics of amps', do you mean learning historically what are the classic different models or how to build one for yourself?

I drew the line in the sand, about building an amp as I suspect I may end up fried toast on one of my own creations! :icon_scratch:

DIY amps by Max eh? Best of luck with the venture, I  know there's a lot of resources on the net about kits etc. these days. A 57 era (5E3 or something like that?) Fender Deluxe circuit would be yummy! :icon_thumright:
