I just purchased a Warmoth Pro compound radius neck for a guitar body with a Gibson style tune o matic bridge.  The new fretboard radius goes from 10" at the nut to 16" at the heel.  Most all of the TOM bridges have a 12" saddle radius.  Any tips or thoughts on how to keep the string height even across the frets rather than higher  for the middle strings.  It seems to me that the ideal bridge radius for the compound neck should be around 18" which would mean notching the middle saddles quite deeply,  Thanks

Yup, ideally the bridge radius for a Warmoth compound neck is 18.5".

File the center saddle notches as deep as necessary to get it perfect, and then file the excess off the top of the saddles.  Also replacement saddles are cheap if you mess up.  :icon_biggrin:

thanks, I'll dig out my files and order some extra saddles 'cos it looks like there's gonna be some trial and error here.  I also just found a tune o matic stlye bridge with adjustable height saddles on the Allparts website but it's quite pricey.
