Here is a new Tobacco Burst that was shot today.  It has one coat of clear on it to melt everything together.  I wish I could take pictures like the ones on the showcase that show the color correctly.  Any way this is going to a beauty.  It is a one-piece swamp ash body that only weighs 3 lbs.  Originally I had planned on this being a Mary Kaye finish but I did not want to use gold hardware so I change direction.

What's the difference in that and your usual '54 2-tone burst, other than the black burstover is wider?

Tonar, all your finishes are gorgeous.  Do you live in the states?  Maybe you can nitro my next Warmoth for me??

I wish I had the equipment and space to shoot nitro.

Thank you so much for you compliment.  If you are serious about me doing a vintage style lacquer finish send me an email and we can discuss price.

I would highly recommend using the Warmoth finishing shop since they are less expensive than me.  Their work is impeccable and would be much more durable than lacquer.  Also, I am backlogged about 5 month at this time and it would be three months from the time I get the piece until you get it back.

Thanks for the tip, very honest of you!  :icon_thumright:

One day I'll do a vintage-ish hard ash Strat and I'll want a nitro finish.  That's like the fifth build I'm planning though...
