A few yrs back I built my first Warmoth guitar....an alpine white basswood/birdseye maple soloist with all the fixins. floyd, cont heal, 720mod. it has been my consistent #1 ever since. originally it had a single EMG 81 and one vol knob.

it now has EMG 85 in bridge and 89r coil splittable humbucker in the beck.I also added a tone and three way mini toggle. she is now changed over to an even better more versatile guitar and is still far and away my favorite guitar I have ever owned, seen, or played.

Now some pics of the transformation.

I think black humbuckers complement the guitar better, but I'm glad to see you've added a second pickup!
I never did get the appeal of single pickup guitars. They just aren't versatile enough. :blob7:

It's odd that I remembered this guitar from the name, before opening the thread. I guess it made an impression on me before. You can't beat alpine white and gold! Simple and classy.

Wow, thats not my style guitar at all, but I really like this one.  I think the white on white with the pickups looks really cool.  Nice job!

I actually agree with Max, can you get white screws? other than that, it looks awesome, I mean it looks awesome as is, but some white screws, over the top? don't know, would be cheap to try.

'Looks good (although I prefer black pickups & knobs).

Is there a gap between the fretboard overhang and the body? I ordered the .720 mod on My Soloist, but there's a gap, and it makes me wonder if they did it.

It looks both mean and smooth, very clean guitar.

And I love the fact that there's a broken guitar hanging on your bathroom wall!

Much better looking with the two pups  :icon_thumright:

Or gold screws, to match the pickup adjustment screws.

You could easily stash more pickups onto that body!  :icon_jokercolor:

Cool looking guitar. White guitars tend to be that.

I have been searching high and low for white screws and I have had no luck at all finding the correct size. changing those out has been on my to do list for a while now. glad to know a lot of the board is with me on that haha

single hum guitars are def not for everyone. I liked it a lot cause it forces you to get creative with your playing. But when I realized this was going to be my number one guitar I knew I needed some more sounds I couldnt get from one bridge humbucker/

I considered keeping with the black pups but for some reason the all white look just spoke to me more. I have not seen a whole lot of "whited out" guitars before so this one stands apart a bit more. at least for me.

Glad to hear everyone seems to like Tiffany's new look.

@line6man: its awesome you remembered this guitar just from the name. I did something right I suppose haha thanks a ton!

@streetavenger: there is no gap at all with my soloist. the fretboard overhang sits flush with the top of the body. looks very very good and pro. how big is the gab on yours? post a pic of it???

That was my first thought too when seeing the white pickups.  Still looks awesome though, not that Prince's isn't, just you know, looks great. :-)

I actually used to have a BC Rich Gunslinger that looked exactly like the original (with a single coil in the neck, but other than that).  Brings back memories.

Great upgrade!

I've never heard of white plating on screws. You have to do it yourself with epoxy paint.
