Well, it's a neck I like both for the feel and appearance...
Visually, I'm goin' for the focus to be on the body with minimal distractions...and, of course,
there ain't no accounting for taste, or we'd all be buildin' the same guitar, I guess...

that top is just gorgeous...congrats!
the binding just completes it perfectly...
my next guitar has to be clear coat...

a tele neck on a strat...blasphemy (joking)
funny, i am building a tele with a strat headstock...
it's like bizarro fender world around here...

All true and a good plan. I'm looking forward to progress pics.

thank goodness we aren't all building the same guitar.  i would have nothing new to look at
and actually have to get back to work...cheers, it looks like a killer project...

i have never played a p-90 pickup before...and i have never seen it paired with other single
coils...please let us know how they match up...i am sure others here are curious as well...
you may have stumbled upon something genius...

my credit card is gratefull that there are no unique choice koa tops in stock right now...between this build and "keanu"...i know what must be done...

great, another idea to keep me awake tonight...

seriously awesome top there...

I like the Tele neck on a Strat body!  Much nicer than the other way 'round. A Strat neck on a Tele body wouldn't be as interesting.

Some are gonna like it, and some aren't...but, hey, it's only
my guitar, but I like it  :cool01:heh, heh...

Beautiful.....  Only one sugggestion a little late....  Rear route and no pickguard.  Show off more of the wood.

My first was a clear coat maple top  with double bindings.  I really like the looks of the clear coates!  (Second is a brown to clear burst.  Still a few weeks before I get that one).

Really like the Koa! The P90 bridge is an interesting idea too. Let us know how you like it! :rock-on:

Beautiful piece of Koa. I would say go with a clear pick guard. Pretty sure you can pick them up for strats.

A clear pickguard...hmmm...that's an interesting idea...I just
might look into that...generally, I prefer the look of a pickguard on a strat, as opposed to without.
That being said, there are occasions when it borders on criminal to hide a portion of the top....
Final decision hasn't been made yet...thanks Paul....
