Anyway, this is what I was thinking of...Except not an Ibanez RG.
I'm getting ready for my next build & I will be getting a PAF Pro in the bridge, an Area 67 in the middle & an Injector in the neck. The Area PUs are just too weak to match up with a PAF Pro if you used it in the neck, but in the middle, they give a nice quack to the neck PU when in the in between position, especially if you split the neck PU.
Also, if you're like me & lower your middle PU way down so it doesn't bother your picking, then it becomes an even less compatible, power wise. This is why you may want to look into an Injector neck for the middle as well.

Well that, plus shrill colors - but that's just because I'm tired of dull, basic, opaque car-colors.
Just want something extreme.
So, no Floyd or Kahler for me. I'm not saying, these don't sound good. But it's not what I'm looking for in this project.
I just love fixed bridges for their direct attack and long sustain
