where'd you get suing from? nobody got sued, but it's pretty obvious that the kid tried it because of the banana-moron video. so yeah, once somebody seriously injures themselves trying to recreate something i'd say you have a good reason to pull the video, no matter how awesome and funny it was. "She believes YouTube is partially to blame for her son' pain." That angers me a great deal. I'm not an expert on parenting (as im sure no-body in the world is) but it is the parents fault completely.
1. She should have some awareness of what her son is up to, The fact he set himself on fire kind of makes me wonder if she actually pays any attention to him at all.
2. If a child can freely take petrol out a lawnmower, then they have NO sence of discipline! (picture below)

maybe. i guess the video shouldn't have been pulled. everybody has to make their own judgements on what they should and should not try. but there's no way i'd blame that on the parents. i've done some really dumb things, and none of it was because my parents didn't raise me right :icon_biggrin:

The stuff with suing was just related to blaming everything. As far as I've experienced, americans complain and sue a LOT. Many times, they win in court too, even though it should be obvious that you should or should not do some stuff. There was a case with some people suing MCdonalds 'cause they got fat from eating ridiculous amounts EACH DAY. :doh: Now, companies have to label warnings, or else, they could get sued.JaySwear said:

yeah i dont know about you guys but that video ispired me to not set myself on fire, A chemicals arent easily put out as the video demonstrates, you need a solid powder like salt or dirt (tip for kitchen fires, no water on a grease fire use salt, sugar and flower may work too if you use a lot and dump it really fast but salt is the safest bet as sugar and flour are actually combustable), and B nothing about that guy says that i want to be like him, what a loser!
