Another Tele thinline project in the works. This was also kicked off by a Screaming Deals neck.
I ordered a custom body from warmoth as well with a unique choice top. The body and neck were just delivered to MJT, where it will receive a finish like a combination of PRS' Burnt Maple Leaf and Warmoth's Bengal Burst. Natural binding with a sunset orange back. All in nitro, then it will be lightly aged. Neck will be finished in nitro too.

Neck is a 59 profile, modern construction, roasted flame maple, rosewood board
Body is alder with flame maple unique choice, belly cut and contoured heel.
Not sure which pickups I want to go for yet. I have some time.
I might do Thornbuckers as found in the Suhr Alt T with the multiple voices.

That top is amazing. This is going to be so good!

There’s no shortage of great 50s PAF clones out there, I’m particularly fond of plain old Gibson 57 Classics or Lollar Low Wind Imperials.

Nickel covers, zebra, cream? Seems like anything will work with that top and finish

Yeah can't wait to get it!
57 Classics are nice, but they don't have them in the wider Fender spacing for the bridge position.
I've been pretty set on zebra bobbins for this
