The Tele pickguard that never existed

The thin lines had that cool blade/vol/tone layout, while the custom and deluxe had the upper toggle switch and the Lp controls. I wanted to see what combining them may look like:



Then I thought, what about a split Jazzmaster style for the thinline?



I dunno bout you guys but I think this would be a good starting place for a build!

Cool idea if you can make it not cover the f hole. Looks pretty close.

Slightly off topic, but why does Warmoth's 69 thinline tele guard say only works with Warmoth bodies?

It would, but you could probably come up with a different f hole design that would look slick.

I’m thinking more about something solid body, a pair of filtertrons, a toggle switch and a vol/vol/tone setup

Every Tele with a pickguard is going to look like this, you have to get a rear-routed Tele to start with to be able to have it be pickguard-less, this is in no way limited to just MIM Teles.
