I went into a music store on my way home and found that they had received their shipment of the new Fender offset guitars, ie the Mustang's and the Duo-sonic's.
And I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Gone are the useless tremolo, crappy bridge and cumbersome slide switches.
You now got some very cool guitars - especially if you're in the market for a slightly shorter scale guitar - that plays beautifully.
I tried the surf green Duo-Sonic HS (it's ever so slightly metallic) and I loved it. What I noticed about these new Fender models is that they differ from Warmoth Mustang bodies in that the Fender's don't have a tummy cut. So now that I know how good they can be, I'll be sure to order a Warmoth Mustang sometime in the future. (Gotta get my 7/8 Tele ready first :laughing7
