The L5S unpacking thread

So I finally got home to check out my new L5S body, Ill just get right into it.

It has been a while since I have gotten a box like this!

Unfortunately, I have to wait to get more things for this build since I just got a 7 stringer (NGD thread in the works, have to take some pictures) but I am still pretty excited about this.

I know right? Kind of want to just throw some oil on it and call it good. But part of me also really wants a nice SG Heritage Cherry piece as well. I have some time to think, but it is between those two options.

Yeah the neck will make up my mind on it. I want to go exotic, but if I spy a good looking mahog. neck, I am done for  :laughing7:

It is solid, and 2 piece. Although it took quite a bit of detective work to find the seam. Obviously it is right in the middle, but the grain match is very good.

Me too, I just couldn't pass this one up. All my self will was used up on that awesome Flame capped and double-bound one. I managed to keep myself off that one, but couldn't on this one haha.
