Tell me about hardtail bridges

I'm a floating bridge and/or Tele bridge guy.  I'm on the cusp of ordering a Warmoth Iceman body and need to decide what hardtail bridge system I'm going to use.  What are the benefits of going recessed TOM / string-thru body vs Gibson-type TOM / STP vs Gotoh wrap-around?  What do you like and why?

Tune-o-matic bridge may lack stopbar and just use "string-thru-the-body" technique or some sort of other tailpiece (like trapezoid, Grestch-style)
