Telecaster vs Strat neck heel shape

Greetings,

Does anyone know....

Can one get a rectangular vs curved fretboard, without having to get the actual shape of the heel as a Telecaster heel.

In other words, I like the squared off look of the end of the Tele neck, but am wondering if one can get that on a neck with a Strat Heel vs Tele Heel?

Only on conversion necks as far as I am aware, unless you sand or cut one square.

You'd have to confirm with customer service, but I think you can get the hard-square-edged fretboard end on most necks as an off-menu option. I don't believe the Tele square-yet-rounded-corners fretboard end can be done on other necks. But again... shoot them an email.

Well, for those interested, I just called and spoke to Grant (very nice guy), and yes, one can get a rectangular (Tele) fretboard end with a Strat Heel and vice versa, for a $15 upcharge.
