Telecaster/strat build bridge pup advice..

I’m working on a tele, 3 strat pickups, 5 way with a push pull for activating the bridge pup.
It’s going to be a hard tail, and I’m not sure how to go about that.
I’d prefer to use a narrow flat mount, but then would I mount the bridge pup directly to the wood?
Should I go with a more traditional tele bridge?
Can I get one with a strat pickup route with individual saddles?

A Strat pickup won't fit in a Tele bridge so that isn't an option. You could go with the American Standard hardtail flat mount bridge and mount all the pickups in the pickguard like you'd do with a Strat. Warmoth may be able to cut a Tele Deluxe pickguard for you and do the same with the body.

You could also do a hard tail Tele hybrid body either Humbucker/Strat/Humbucker or universal pickup routing and a pickguard set up for Strat/Strat/Strat pickups. No fiddling, that way. They're pretty cool, too. In the future if you decide you want to put a humbucker or two in it, all you'll need is a new pickguard.

You can mount any pickup you want directly to the body. Both the bridge & neck pickups in my telecaster are mounted to the wood.

Look here to get some ideas ...

How does that answer the OPs question?

He is asking about if there are Strat pickups that will fit in a Tele Bridge or how to wood-mount a Strat pickup on a tele with a hardtail strat type bridge.

Well there's the literal question, with the literal answer, and then the question that really needs to be answered, which is OP needs options and ideas that will help him making this decision and others later on.  No harm intended.

Sure nothing wrong with ideas that have some relationship.

You don't need to wood-mount the Strat bridge pickup.
Individual metal Strat pickup mounts are available, I have one for the bridge pickup on my Tele-thinline which was routed for a Strat bridge pickup and hardtail bridge.
A picture of the body should be attached to this posting.
