Telecaster people

I was toying with it.  It does look good on most anything.

Agreed, although I got the feeling that Strats accepts different headstock way better than Teles... Might be my head, too...

You would need to have the body routed for that neck (or use a 22 fret neck with an overhang on the fretboard and use a pickguard cutout for the warmoth shape)

my purpleheart neck has been removed from my strat and i've been thinking about putting it on a telecaster. wouldn't be too traditional looking, but then again a purpleheart neck isn't too traditional in the first place!

I do...... :icon_biggrin:

some people dig tele shapes more than LP's even when making LP type guitars... not to mention flat top LP's (roughly the same price as a tele) doesn't look as good as a tele to me, and i'm sure it's the same way for others.

same for me. plus the warmoth shape just looks strange on an LP to me. it can look good, but i'd prefer a carved top LP over a flat top, and that can mean a lot more money

why not just go LP instead of Tele?

2 totally different beasts, man. I can see if someone suggested a Soloist over a Strat or vice versa because they are basically the same shape, but an LP and Tele don't look anything alike.

Really? I think a carved top LP with a Warmoth head looks badass. Interesting.

I think the tele shape is the most comfortable sit-down shape available. The strat horn help with balance when standing, but I actually prefer the square edges for the most part. When I can rest my forearm on an edge, I can pick with a free-floating hand better (when desired). Les Pauls are too small for anything except dancing & posing.... :evil4:

Really? I think a warmoth head on a LP looks waaaaaay better than a regular Gibson headstock...

Well, doesn't really matter now. Looks like that body is already gone. I figured it wouldn't last very long.

Because we aren't all insane to the extent of Orpheo..  :laughing7:

Speak for yourself! :toothy12:

And I too think the Warmoth shape looks great on any LP, a lot better than the standard "thin" Gibson one that I've never really liked (the wider Custom shape looks much better).
