Seems like too nice of a guitar to set up for slide. Don't you normally use something that's nearly unrepairable and isn't any good for anything else for that kind of duty?

The body and neck came from a China made Tele which costs around $75.00 and another $70 for the cone, coverplate and biscuit bridge.    The pickup and metal mounting ring probably tops the cost at $80.00.  A new coat of paint really did the trick to make it look expensive.

In the hands of a seasoned slide player (not me), priceless !!!
