Thanks man. I'm sure I will. Now I need to think about what I'm gonna do regarding the neck, woods etc.

Unfinished rosewood neck and board sounds cool, but I've never owned a guitar with an unfinished neck and worry about it looking crappy over time and feeling rough and raw to the touch, or are these not things I should worry about?

These are things not to worry about...
It will just look better over time and feel like butta'

The more you play a raw neck, the better it feels.  Don't worry about it.  My canary neck has only been touched by naphtha and cotton rags (and my hands of course), and the relief hasn't budged in over six months.

Well, I WAS leaning towards that but think I'll go for a wenge and ebony neck as put in this thread from the showcase to keep costs down. I'm gonna build Phrygian's guitar for him!
