I'll be putting a regular Tele pickup in there actually, I just liked the body that much. On the plus side, I can probably fit any pickup in there if I want to change my mind . Those Charlie Christian pups are definitely super sweet sounding, maybe in the future...

The mail service at my job somehow only caught the box with the neck in it, so no black pickguard photo today. You'll have to use your imagination. The body is more yellow in real life.

After UPS lost my package and a lot of back and forth emails, I finally got the rest of the parts:

More delays after I took the plastic off the pickguard and found out it had dents in it, probably due to shipping.

It's tough to teIl by the pictures, but you're likely to do that much damage just playing it the first week. Unless the thing is for someone else or is intended to be sold immediately as new, I don't think I'd hold up production over blemishes that small.

I know what you mean but in the flesh it's a lot more apparent than in the photo unfortunately .

I see. Well, that sucks. Nail the post office for it. You shouldn't have to eat $25 just because they're animals.

Hopefully I didn't mess anything up :icon_biggrin:. I can already see a lot of things I could've done better. I can't wire up the pickups right now because I'm not the one doing the final assembly anyways.
