Tamarind wood for guitars?

Was wondering if anyone has ever used Tamarind wood for a guitar and found this:

Yeah, he's a bit pompous. But, they are nice guitars. I see something like that, and I get visions of Al DiMeola and Paco de Lucia playing "Mediterranean Sundance".
