Tab Recommendations

I was looking for tab for that You Tube "Insanely Awesome Guitar Solo" video by Fernando Miyata, but I couldn't find any, and I don't have a good enough ear to figure it out.  I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a similar style of shredding, (long solo using all the strings, spread all over the fretboard, and utilizing multiple right hand fingers to tap with), that there is tab for.  I have plenty of Vai, Satriani, and Yngwie tab but now I'm looking for a new challenge.

I see on Amazon there's a ton of Dream Theater tab books.  I've never heard them, but could someone recommend a good album for 6 string shredding practice?  (I'm a bit behind, as my musical tastes haven't yet ventured far outside the 20th century).

Paganini Caprices 1 - 24 Violin, a few years studying those and you will know the neck inside out. Especially if you look for different ways to play it. But it's better if you can read or learn as I don't think you will find tab for all of it.

There's a program out there available for both Windows and OS/X called "The Amazing Slow Downer" that you can use to slow down music without changing its pitch. Many use it to do transcribing as you can even disect chords with it, but it's just as useful to hear exactly what someone is doing and cop it for yourself.

It's not a unique thing - many DAW packages will include that sort of feature, but they're expensive. This utility is cheap. Plus, you can download it and try it for free to see if it'll help you before you buy it.

Another way to get that functionality is with Audacity, and it's free, although a bit more complex.
