Swamp ash and maple strat finish suggestions.

Hey everybody, i just picked up a beautiful swamp ash body and all maple neck from the warmoth showcase because of the sale, and I don't know how I'm gonna finish the new strat. I would really like the grain to show cuz the swamp ash has wonderful grain lines. I'll be using chrome hardware and black pickups. I don't know what pickguard I will be using yet.

Bottom line: what finish and pickguard ideas does everybody recommend for my swamp ash strat body and maple neck? The grain must show!

a really subtle brown dye would be cool. i'm not a finish buff by any means, but i'm pretty sure tung oil finishes are pretty easy. have a picture of the body?

I'd do a tobacco sunburst or a simple amber.

I have an uncle who has offered to finish it. He is a professional woodworker and finisher, so I just need to send the instructions to him. And no, he is not Tonar.
